Day 3

OMG!  So now that we dropped 15 lbs off the cart life was a little easier today.  For a little while.  My pack is still too heavy for me so we decided to put the pack on the cart because bill needed more weight in the back.  I pushed using the handle in the back and he pulled.   Win win for both of us!  Beautiful weather, sunny, high 60s with a breeze but we still sweated a lot!!  Unfortunately, the directions from ADT were incorrect. ... said we only had 9 miles to do to the campsite. ..turned out to be 13.74.  It was not pretty.   See the pic of bill,  he was wiped out.   Anyway we are staying at this camp site for a couple of days to rest our feet (which feel like they've been beaten with a stick- no lie.
Trying to eat but no appetite yet.  We are doing good tho, truly.

  1. Happy Birthday Kathleen. I hope you have a beautiful day. You are missed. Glad your first couple days on the road went well. I am glad you guys are getting rid of some excess. Remember, it is not the speed of the trip that matters it is about the experiences along the way. Don't push to hard.
