So........ We had about 5 inches of snow and ice. Late morning saw everything melting and temps of 47°. The snow we had looks like sugar on the ground. It was quite pretty. The warning is still in effect because of the black ice that will form overnight when temps go below freezing. We will leave tomorrow by noon and see how roads are when we get to NC since they are having their issues as well. We have had such a nice time here with Barb! She has been so very patient with me while teaching me knitting and we have had great talks.
On to North Carolina and seeing more siblings. This trip has been like a traveling reunion. :)
