Is everyone having a good start to the brand new year? Sure hope so! Buzz and Chief are on the go again - only we're using 4 wheels instead of 2 feet. We left Chesapeake at 3:30 this morning, dropped our son, Adam, at the airport, and headed to Colorado. We'll be visiting relatives for the next 6 weeks.
We traveled through VA, WV, KY, and made it to Indiana before we cried 'uncle' in the face of Winter storm Hercules. (What a COLD adventure we'd be having if we were walking!!!). Hercules showed up in WV and turned fierce in Louisville, KY. It was a good time to stop and the blowing snow is Fabulous!
WV was real nice being up in the mountains. So pretty, even in winter. Believe it or not, KY moved my heart. The rolling hills, tree-studded farms, old farmhouses, snow dusted fields.......Home.
For all you faithful followers, Thank You! You may only be a handful but you are Loved and appreciated. You know who you are ;) It's on to Kansas tomorrow. Think I'll follow Toto.........
