Quite a day today. Laurie and I left her house at 830 and walked all over her neighborhood. Laurie has a huge park right in her back yard and we watched hundreds of runners as they jogged a half marathon, then we walked for 2 hours and I saw flora, fauna, and birds that I have never seen or heard before. Came home, collected Bill and walked to Duke's Sports Bar so we could watch the Denver/Patriots game. Stayed til halftime and enjoyed beer and humuus. Walked back to the house, let Bill watch the rest of the games while Laurie and I went to her friend, Cheryl's, house. WE PICKED ORANGES OFF HER TREE IN HER BACKYARD! !!! They are delicious! She had hummingbirds flying all over her yard and she had a most gorgeous home. Spent about 2 hours there then went to Basha's, a grocery store, for dinner. Got home at 730 and watched tv and got warm. Yes, it gets Cold here and I have been cold all day. Crazy! Before Cheryl's house Laurie drove me all over Downtown Scottsdale and we stopped in at her library which had a Steampunk exhibition going on (very cool).
Who knows what fun we'll have tomorrow? Stay tuned.....
