Sunday

Started the day off by getting some groceries at the nearby Target.   Had a nice conversation with Laurie about getting to Scottsdale via Santa Fe and what we will do while at her house.  Am planning on stopping for a few hours in Santa Fe before we get to Laurie's. 

Mimi and Marleigh got here around noon and we went to the Park Meadows Mall.  Dropped Bill off at Rock Bottom Brewery cafe so he could watch football while we did the girl thing and shopped! :)  We also went to David 's Bridal so Marleigh could get a choir dress and we felt like we were in a "Say yes to the Dress" show!   It was so much fun watching all those women shopping for their dress.  Then we picked up Bill, dropped him off at the house so I could enjoy Marleigh doing her practice driving.  She drove for almost an hour and she did really well!   Got to see Mimi's work, garden, previous homes, and Jackass Hill (no clue why it's called that).  Also saw Marleigh 's high school and Arapahoe High School and all the lovely neighborhoods.

Got home and we all had pizza, Ice cream, and a Harry Potter movie.   It was fun to be inside because we were all freezing today - super high winds and temps in the 30's and just a little bit of snow flurries.       Another fun day!  :)
